Stellar answers, mummbles! And you got two of my favorite Mel Brooks films in this. Outstanding! Good to have your version of this wonderful meme. Well done.

Thank you very much for the inspiration!

Excellent list - though maybe you could find a more interesting "Z" film (though Zodiac was meh)

Mummbles said...

Thank you Uncle, I had a hard time coming up with movies that start with Z but I still enjoy Zodiac a great deal! said...

now I want to give this a shot. Although I don't want your uncle critiquing my Z selection. :-)

Nice list! Though my A will always be Alfred Hitchcock.

Great post, Sean! What a fun list. And there are so many great movies on here, you're reminding me how many movies I need to go back and watch again. This would take me so long to put together! Mostly because I wouldn't be able to decide on a movie for some letters...

Mummbles said...

You should do it Emily! I mostly stuck to what movies I owned so that made it a tad easier, the whole thing only took an hour or so.

I like how you picked the sequels for Terminator, X-Men, and the third in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Does that mean those were your favorites? If so, I totally agree with X-Men 2 being better than the first, but I favor slightly toward The Towers when it comes to Lord of the Rings...

Mummbles said...

Wesley- Those sequels were my favorite. LOTR I felt all the movies were equally good but I still favor the last one. X2 is my favorite Xmen movie to date and lets face it, X is a hard movie to place in a cinematic alphabet.

I liked your blog post. I really think I need to watch Eternal Sunshine again soon... it's been a while since I've seen it!
